Dear Sirs,
It is appparent by your lack of actions after I applied for a loan with your company and it was approved that unless I get a full resolution to the issues no later than the xxxxx (usually 12 business days) I will have no alternative but to commence legal action against your company for various issues relating to your failures under the following acts of law,
* The Misrepresentation act by negligence or possible fraud
* The data protection act in relation to your terms and conditions,
* The unfair terms in consumer contracts act, in relation to your terms and conditions
* The Consumer credit act in regards to your failures to comply and your several breaches
* The Distance marketing Act
I Hope you understand how serious these issues are now becoming and that you will not waste mine or the courts time in bringing these issues to a satisfactory conclusion.
Having been recently scammed off these swines, Im not impressed- not impressed at all!!
Don’t bother phoning them- at all, they dont answer the phone!
You can get your money back through your bank if you phone up and explain to them whats gone on.
Direct finance uk take the £49.99 from your bank before you have recieved anything to sign and send back- usually they take the money straight after the phone call- which means they have taken it without consent!
Also cancel you bank card, I have read that they have also taken money from accounts at later dates- so be smart and cancel!
Also Horizon finance, yesloans and wentworth are scams! Sad but true!
Dont ever pay an upfront fee for admin- I have found out in all cases these “companys” which take a fee upfront are scams. Any good company would take the admin charge from your loan.
Be smart people and dont let these scammers fool you.
i have recently applied for a loan from direct finance uk , they told me i would have to pay £49.99 for administration which they have taken by debit card, i have received no paperwork or i don’t even have an address for these people and would like to contact these people do you have an address and phone number for these crooks for me to get in touch with them
paid £49.99 3weeks ago but had nothing going into my account
what do we need to do to protect ourselves asthey asked us to set up a direct debit mandate?
they said they would check my credit rate if gave them my bank details,and got charged for it,i am a single mam with hardly any money,my bank is investigating this matter,as i did not wont it,like i can afford that price,

5 weeks after paying £49.99 i still have not had a loan and it is nearly impossible to make enquiries by phone or email. Im not impressed !

I too have just been had £49 down the pan. Maybe time to get some mates together and go to newport for a “stag night.”
